The Golden Circle is the tour both about nature and history. Just in one day you can experience all the best that Iceland has to offer: glacial rivers, beautiful landscapes, wild scenery and of course our most famous places, spectacular waterfall Gullfoss and Geysir. We start by visiting the Þingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was established in the year 930 AD and where we will see the cracks of Mid Atlantic ridge between two continents. This area was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in August 2004. We continue to the beautiful Gullfoss waterfall where we can walk so close to the edge that we might feel the mist of the glacial water on our faces. From there we visit the geothermal area around the incredible spouting geysers of Geysir and Strokkur. You find out how Iceland was born and how it is still growing geologically. We will also show you many other natural wonders such as the implosion crater Kerið and the waterfall at Faxi. We will do our best to make you really enjoy your trip and acquire great memories from Iceland that you can share with your friends and family when you get back home.
